THE ARABIC
The Arabic language is very important for anyone who has ever considered traveling to Dubai. We must have or learn the basics of the language to be able to communicate fluently, since when we travel we will need things and we need to have a language to communicate so that others understand what we need. We also travel to learn everything about a country, so it's essential to learn greetings and the most common phrases that are used and that will be useful to us because, from what I've read, they are very strict about respect and values, and their culture, especially religion and food, is one of the most important traditions in Arabia.
Therefore, I see an even greater need to know a language and a culture before visiting because these are aspects that seem simple, but if you disregard them, you can have serious problems because what might be normal for us could be aggression or even terrorism for them, due to the bad behavior we sometimes exhibit towards each other. But there, it's different.I've heard the Arabic language on social media several times, but I don't really retain any words of it.I can't learn the pronunciation because I can't understand how they speak it, but the language has a greatinfluence when we need to talk to people who don't share our language.
You're right — learning even basic Arabic shows real respect for Emirati culture, traditions, and values when visiting Dubai, where hospitality and politeness matter deeply. While English is everywhere, a simple "Marhaba" or "Shukran" can create warmer connections and help avoid misunderstandings. The language's rich, flowing pronunciation is captivating!
